2025 Tackle Cheer Registration

Registration is open until June 1st. Any cheerleader registered after June 1st will be required to pay a $50.00 late registration fee.

A Program for athletes in 1st-7th grade.

****Please note that this past year we had a huge volunteer shortage. Because of this, we will be asking parents to write a check for $125 out to SGYAA and handed in at equipment fittings. The check should be dated for November 10th, 2025. Parents will receive this check back once their 2 required volunteer hours are fulfilled. We are not here to take anyone's money, but we cannot run this program for the kids without volunteers. We appreciate each and every one of you.****

Registration for Tackle Football is Open Now!!!!

Registration is open now open until June 1st, 2025.

Any player registered after June 1st will be required to pay a $50.00 late fee.

Football players will not be able to choose their number or have their last name on their uniform if they are registered late.

Rinks: First, Second & Third grade

Ponies: Fourth & Fifth grade

Midgets: Sixth & Seventh Grade (cannot turn 14 before 8/31)

Football uniform cost: $140

***First, I want to share some exciting news! We listened regarding jersey issues in the past and we decided to go with a known supplier for jerseys. Because of this, there is a slight cost increase. However. these jerseys are a higher quality, and they are reversible. We are requiring that pants be purchased through us this season due to a uniform color change as well.

REQUIREMENTS:

A copy of your child’s birth certificate, report card must be uploaded at time of registration.

Physicals are to be completed and uploaded by July 23rd or your child will not be able to practice, and the physical must have been done this year. You must use a PIAA form or our YCYFA form located on our website that has been filled out by the doctor. These are the only forms that will be accepted. (This is required only for football players)

To upload physicals after you are registered:

1. Log into your account

2. Click on the pencil beside your child’s name.

3. Click the + beside Physical and upload document.

4. Submit

All football players are required to order a uniform unless they have one that still fits from last season since we are using those uniforms again.

Families are required to complete volunteer segments throughout the season. These segments include assisting with the concession stand, time clock, chain crew, field set-up/clean-up, and announcer. Our program is solely run by volunteers. By not committing to this requirement, it is possible that games will be canceled. More information on this will be communicated at the beginning of our season by the Board.
