2025 Tackle Cheer Registration

Registration is open until June 1st. Any cheerleader registered after June 1st will be required to pay a $50.00 late registration fee.

A Program for athletes in 1st-7th grade.

****Please note that this past year we had a huge volunteer shortage. Because of this, we will be asking parents to write a check for $125 out to SGYAA and handed in at equipment fittings. The check should be dated for November 10th, 2025. Parents will receive this check back once their 2 required volunteer hours are fulfilled. We are not here to take anyone's money, but we cannot run this program for the kids without volunteers. We appreciate each and every one of you.****

Uniform Fittings

UNIFORM FITTINGS:

📣Please bring the post dated uniform deposit check for $160 made out to SGYAA dated for 12/1/2025.

📣Your cheerleader will try on their uniform, and we will put that uniform in a bag with their name on, and they will receive it during chant camp at the end of July. They will be divided up by teams and handed to the girls by coaches in the bags from fittings.

📣Uniform fittings are first come first serve! Those that come to the earlier ones get first dibs on the best fitting uni. 😊

📣Cheer fittings will be in the white shed within the middle school football field gates.

Once it gets dark earlier we cut practice down to 7pm due to light. We WILL drop down to two days per week once all material is taught. Coaches will communicate this.

Equipment Information

The following will be provided by SGYAA for all cheerleaders in the 2024 Season:

***Disclaimer: We are purchasing brand new uniforms for this season. That being said, we are no longer paying for the game day bow for the girls.

• Shell and Skirt (to be returned)
• Pink Bow
• Pink Socks

The following will be required by SGYAA:

Items are to be purchased on your own

• Any All White Cheerleading Shoes
• Game Day Socks - Any white ankle socks

Your child may wear the following during the colder games, but they must be black:
• Black Gloves
• Black Ear Warmers

• Black Leggings

$13 check required to order the bow

• Game Day Bows (If your cheerleader has one from 2024 Tackle or 2025 Flag you do not need to purchase a new bow)

Required to bring to Uniform Fittings:

• $13 check for your athlete's game day bow. (If your cheerleader has one from 2024 Tackle or 2025 Flag you do not need to purchase a new bow) Memo line - Cheerleaders name/bow.

• $160 check postdated for 12/01/2025. If uniforms (shell and skirt) are not returned in good, usable condition at the end of the season, the $160 equipment deposit will be cashed. Memo line - Cheerleaders name/uniform.
• $125 check postdated for 11/10/25 for your volunteer fees. If you fulfil your 2 volunteer hours, you will receive this check back. Memo line - Cheerleaders name/volunteer.
